Duty-Free Sales Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales & Advisory: Proactively advise and introduce duty-free products (perfumes, cosmetics, alcohol, tobacco, etc.) to customers. Provide details on pricing, product features, and promotional programs.
Customer Service: Inform customers about duty-free purchase limits and customs regulations based on their destination.
Payment Processing: Handle payments (cash, credit cards) accurately. Enter customer information (name, passport number, flight number) and purchased items into the POS system; issue receipts/invoices.
Merchandising: Arrange and display merchandise attractively; clean and maintain product display shelves. Check and update price tags, promotional boards, and expiration dates regularly.
Cash & Compliance: Enter exchange rates, transmit sales data. Prepare cash declaration forms for bringing money in/out of the restricted area and submit revenue to the Airport Authority or Store Manager as assigned.
Other Tasks: Input and monitor promotional programs/price adjustments and perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Language: Good communication skills in English are required.
Experience: Prior experience in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred.
Appearance: Pleasant, well-groomed appearance suitable for a premium retail environment.
Availability: Willing to work in rotating shifts at the airport.
Personality: Honest, careful, cheerful, and friendly with a strong customer-service mindset.
Skills: Clear and fluent speaking voice.
